Art of Outdoors is a locally owned and operated business based in Tauranga, New Zealand.
Our passion for crafting unique and exquisite garden art is matched by our commitment to providing consistent work and income for our skilled artists.
Our goal is to create charming, ingenious, and artistic sculptures in various sizes, making them accessible to our customers at reasonable prices by minimizing overhead costs.
We are often asked “are the sculptures NZ made”.
They are not but please read our story and you will see that this is not a bad thing.
We design the sculptures and complete all the color work upon their arrival, but it's our incredible team in South Africa that crafts them.
The income these artists receive from our projects provides for their food, medicine, and their children's education.
Our team is immensely thankful for the steady work and fair wages we offer, and each sale contributes to the livelihood of these exceptionally skilled individuals.
They express profound gratitude with every new order they receive.
Every sculpture is handcrafted, ensuring the absence of a factory production line. As a result, each sculpture is distinct and totally unique. No two are identical.
Our sculptures are constructed from recycled scrap metal and old engine parts, transforming each piece into a masterpiece.
