FAQs

Where are you located and how do I get in touch?

We are based in Pyes Pa, Tauranga, New Zealand. You can get in touch via the contact us form.

Can I come and view the sculptures?

We don't have a shop or showroom but if you let us know which sculpture or sculptures that you would like to see, we can easily arrange a time for you to view.

Alternatively, we have scheduled Open Day Weekends (Sept through to April) where all the sculptures are put on display and the gates are open between set hours. The dates for these events are advertised to our Newsletter subscribers as well as published on our Facebook Page so be sure to subscribe (at the bottom of this page) or LIKE our facebook page here so you receive these notifications.

Are the sculptures made in NZ?

No but please read on to see why this is not a bad thing.

We design most of the sculptures here and we do all the colour work when they arrive here, but they are made by our very talented team of craftsmen based in South Africa.

The money these artists earn from the work we send them pays for food, medicines and schooling for their children and families. South Africa has no welfare system to support people in hard times and COVID has brought hard times.

They are so so grateful for the consistent work that we send them and the fair rates we pay, and every piece we sell helps these amazingly talented people. They are always incredibly happy to receive each new order.

Can the sculptures be shipped?

Yes we ship sculptures all over NZ, and the smaller ones can be shipped internationally. For most of our sculptures, the website will automatically calculate the shipping cost for single-item purchases at the checkout. If you want to buy multiple sculptures, or are interested in the larger pieces, then we ask that you get in touch so we can calculate the shipping charge to your address for the specific sculptures that you want. More delivery info here.

Can I pay via PayPal?

Yes. If you would like to pay with PayPal, please contact us and we can send you an invoice via PayPal.

Can I pay via Bank Transfer?

Yes, we accept bank transfer payments from NZ banks only. Simply choose Bank Transfer as your payment method at checkout, then make your payment directly into our bank account once your order has been submitted.

Payment must be made within 3 days of order date.

What if my sculpture arrives damaged?

In the unlikely event that your sculpture arrives damaged or you are not satisfied with your purchase, please email info@artofoutdoors.co.nz within 3 working days of delivery date, with your order number and a photo of the sculpture as it was received. Once we have received this email, we will send you an email to notify if we agree to return, replace or refund at our discretion. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund for ‘change-of-mind’ purchases. Once an order has been dispatched, shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refunds, if any, will be at the entire discretion of Art of Outdoors Limited and will be subject to any specific additional terms and conditions in respect of the original online transaction. It may be stated in the specific additional terms and conditions that no refund will be available. A request for a refund must be made by emailing info@artofoutdoors.co.nz within 7 days of delivery date.
