The Steelclaw Skyhunter Hanging Steampunk Eagle is a breathtaking sculpture, each one individually crafted and entirely unique.
Standing approximately 2 metres tall, this commanding piece is built from an extraordinary assortment of salvaged materials — nuts, bolts, keys, padlocks, horseshoes, old tools, metal plates, and car parts — all meticulously welded to form a powerful bird of prey in full flight.
Suspended by a sturdy chain from its stand, the Eagle sways gently with the breeze, giving the impression of a living creature riding the air. In its talons, it grips a snake forged from twisted steel bars, adding movement, tension, and storytelling to the piece.
With a wingspan ranging from 1100 to 1500mm and a height between 1800 and 2000mm, this sculpture commands attention from every angle.
It is best displayed in a sheltered location, where its intricate details and dynamic form can be fully appreciated.
