The Steel Stalker stands at approximately 700mm tall, making it the smaller of the two mantis sculptures — yet it remains a solid, weighty, and visually commanding piece.
Crafted from bolts, metal nuts, recycled spanners, saw blades, steel rebar, and assorted scrap metals, this sculpture carries real presence despite its reduced size.
Each mantis is individually handmade, capturing the creature’s iconic poised stance with an industrial twist.
Some pieces feature extended wings, while others have closed wings — each one unique in posture and detail.
